Cobra Daytona Coupe Standard Equipment
Highland Daytona Racing offers an extensive list of standard equipment for its Cobra Daytona Coupes, including Ford 302/331 cid engine, Edelbrock aluminum heads, Edelbrock intake manifold, Holly Pro fuel pump and Brake Man brakes.
Chassis, Suspension and additional frame mounted equipment
- Fully triangulated 4130N chrome-moly round tube backbone/Space Frame, all aircraft alloy seamless tubing, three point roll cage, customer choice of 2 frame colors.
- Fully adjustable contemporary GT-1 roadrace suspension, Front UN-equal length fully adjustable upper control arms with heavy duty screw in ball joints. Front & rear anti-dive/anti-squat geometry. Front light weight 1-¼" hollow tube adjustable sway bar.
- No Factory stock geometry or stock Ford parts are used in our suspension! We have taken the wheelbase and track width of the original Daytona's and brought the whole system up to the current industry GT racing standard.
- Custom fabricated Speedway Engineering 9" floater rear w/ Auburn Pro-posi 3rd member. CNC machined roadrace axles, billet heat-treated hubs & drive plates. All attached Via the fully triangulated Satchel Link system on heim joints.
- Custom built extreme duty T-5z world class. (Several 5th gear options)
- Brakeman F-3, 4-piston Calipers front & rear w/ Brakeman Revolution rotors.
- Wilwood Billet aluminum front hubs & four 12-3/4"Vented rotors.
- All 37 degree AN type brake fittings w/Steel braided brake lines at wheels.

Driveshaft

- Axles are located to our chassis via the triangulated Satchell link system, all attached with chrome-moly/Teflon Heims joints
Rear-end Options
- Compact oil cooler transfer pump w/ cooler & lines; the oil cooler is mandatory if ANY racing is expected and highly recommended for prolonged high speed driving
- Custom cambered and toed housing up to 2 degrees; this greatly enhances the car's cornering force! We recommend this option vigorously! This option gives you the best feature of an IRS in a totally bullet-proof and versatile unit without all of the inherent design flaws of the Jag, Vette or Ford 8.8" rears!
Fuel cell
- Custom aluminum 22 gallon cell with rollover valves throughout (36 gallon available as an option)

Paint
- Customer can choose virtually any available automotive color from any auto manufacturer. HDR has the ability to custom mix any standard old or new OEM color from any manufacturer or use over 100 custom specialty colors available from PPG, with any level of custom paint or body work desired. Black is an additional charge of $500.

Calipers
